GRETNA – Capital One is seeking over $6,000.
Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit May 10 against Dennis Burdick of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the card to accumulate a balance of $6,604.63 and failed to pay it off.
The defendant is accused of having an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
