Bank of America seeks more than $70,000 on an overdue promissory note

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking over $70,000 for a promissory note.

Bank of America N.A. filed a suit May 5 against Walter Griffin Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a promissory note for the amount of $73,851.67 plus interest. Because the defendant is deceased and no successor has been appointed, the plaintiff requests that the court appoints an attorney to represent the succession.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Logan Massey of Den Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771783.
