Boil & Roux alleged to have unlawfully broadcasted Mayweather, Pacquiano fight

BATON ROUGE – A Baton Rouge establishment is alleged to have unlawfully intercepted a sporting event.

J&J Sports Productions Inc. filed a complaint on April 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against The Boil & Roux Kitchen LLC, doing business as Boil & Roux, and Maurice Walker alleging that they violated the Communications Act and the Cable & Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act.

According to the complaint, on May 2, 2015, the plaintiff was the exclusive commercial domestic distributor of The Fight of the Century, Floyd Mayweather Jr. v.
