Bank alleges Jefferson Parish residents didn't pay off loan for Buick Encore

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for an unpaid balance on a vehicle.

Ally Bank filed a suit May 3 against Lorelei N. Thomas and Jennifer A. Thomas of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a vehicle.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a lease on a 2013 Buick Encore. The suit states that the defendants were required to pay a balance of $31,339.44 over a period of 72 months. The defendants failed to pay the plaintiff as they were required and are still indebted to the defendant for the balance of $19,356.58.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Arthur S. Mann III, Earl P. Sundmaker and Gregory J. Walsh of The Sundmaker Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 771718.
