Oil company claims LKM Convenience failed to pay for delivered gasoline

NEW ORLEANS – An oil company is seeking damages for an open account.

Stars Oil Co. Inc. filed a lawsuit June 22 against LKM Convenience LLC and Lenny K. Motwani in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff delivered gasoline and diesel to the defendants but was never paid.

The defendant is accused of open account, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, fraud and piercing the corporate veil.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Howard L. Murphy of Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
