Capital One Bank claims Jefferson Parish woman owes over $3,000

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for an open account.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit June 26 against Cynthia Drake of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant which was used to accumulate a balance of $3,246.31. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Remy F. Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
