Jefferson Parish woman allegedly failed to make improvements to property

GRETNA – A Louisana community development department is seeking damages for a breach of contract.

The state of Louisiana Division of Administration Office of Community Development-Disaster Recover Unit filed a suit June 27 against Aimee Avila Flores of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an unpaid balance of $30,000. The suit states that plaintiff failed to make improvements to a property with funds given by the state.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by Mary C. Cali of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
