Delgado Community College claims former student owes over $700

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $700 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit June 21 against Renee Davis in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $776, plus interest of 33 percent, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 785017.
