Man claims he is owed more than $64,000 by Green Bee Publishing

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages for more than $64,000.

Francis Kirley filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Melissa Burbank, Courtney Kunstman and Green Bee Publishing LLC, dba Natural Awakenings of Southeast Louisiana.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for for sums due on a promissory note. The suit states the defendant has remained negligent in the balance due, despite amicable demands from the plaintiff. The defendant is indebted to the plaintiff in the balance of $64,474.11 plus interest of 5 percent per year.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney F. Evans Schmidt of Koch & Schmidt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
