LSU claims former student owes more than $1,200

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking sums due of more than $1,200.

Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors through Louisiana State University filed a complaint on Nov. 5 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Angele Jackson Delarge.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account that the defendant has failed to pay off. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance owed for services delivered. The defendant is indebted for the balance of $1,215 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-11110.
