New Penn Financial files court action seeking over $89,000

GRETNA – A mortgage servicing company is seeking more than $89,000 in sums due.

New Penn Financial LLC, dba Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Aaron J. Hurd and Michelle Sahuque Hurd.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid mortgage. The suit states the plaintiff is seeking is $89,078.24 plus interest of 4.25 percent.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790616.
