Discover Bank seeks over $2,300 on open account

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking more than $2,300 from a customer who has allegedly failed to pay off a balance due.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Shannon L. Boyd.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the plaintiff has been seeking payment for a balance owed of $2,383.02 plus interest. The plaintiff allegedly has sough amicable demand of the debt, but to no avail.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
