Discover Bank seeks more than $3,600 on open account

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $3,600 in sums due.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Melissa W. Oxford.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $3,648 plus interest. The defendant has allegedly received amicable demand from the plaintiff, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
