American Express seeks more than $9,100 in sums due

GRETNA – American Express filed a complaint against a customer who has allegedly failed to pay over $9,100.

American Express National Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 11 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jarvain Bignmon.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has been negligent in a balance of $9,131.72 plus interest. Despite alleged amicable demands from the plaintiff, the defendant has remained negligent in the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 791148.
