GRETNA – A funding company alleges that they are owed more than $1,200 in sums due.
Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Francisco Roque.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $1,233 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges it has made amicable demands to the defendant, but to no avail.
The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
