GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an incident that she claims took place at a TGI Friday's.
Valethia Ingraham filed a complaint on Jan. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Southeast Restaurant Group Inc., dba TGI Friday's, and XYZ Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 7, 2018, when the plaintiff was at the TGI Friday's at 1201 Manhattan Blvd. The plaintiff allegedly was caused to slip and fall on a wet portion of ground that was not properly cleaned or marked as dangerous.
The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to prevent an injury from taking place.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael Begoun of Wolfe, Begoun & Pick LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sulivan Jr.
