GRETNA – A car insurer is suing a local hospital and an ambulance driver who allegedly ran a red light and totaled a vehicle. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, as a partial subrogee of James Langford, filed suit against Jason Bergeron, Jefferson Parish Hospital Service District No. 2, Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana and East Jefferson General Hospital in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 23.

Storage company sued after wall allegedly falls on, crushes rental car

GRETNA – A car rental company is suing a storage facility after a wall allegedly fell on and crushed one of its cars. Nifty Car Rental LLC filed suit against Dependable Storage Service Inc., Carubba Inc., CEI Construction, Carubba Engineering Inc. and Seneca Insurance Company Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 24.

BATON ROUGE – A bus driver and the school board employing her are being sued by a parent who allegedly sustained injuries in a car accident while attempting to pick up her daughter from school. Lakisha Homes filed suit against East Baton Rouge Parish School Board and Shaundra Dyer in the 19th Judicial District Court.
