Bank of America alleges Jefferson Parish man owes nearly $10,000 on credit card

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for an open account.

Bank of America N.A. filed a suit June 9 against Bradley Akers of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant, which was then used to make $9,632.54 in purchases but no payments have been made on the account.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
