GRETNA – American Express is seeking more than $8,000.
American Express Bank FSB filed a suit March 5 against James Richard in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant failed to pay off the balance of $8,040.60 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
