La Capitol Federal Credit Union seeks $7,117 due on promissory note

GRETNA – La Capitol Federal Credit Union is seeking more than $7,000 allegedly due on a promissory note.

The credit union filed a lawsuit June 12 against Bryant Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of the $7,117.47 balance due on the note plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay the amount due,

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Richard Crawford of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
