Grambling State is seeking more than $4,000

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $4,000 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Grambling State University filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Tenaj Lynette Smith.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due in the sums due $4,012 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-8904.
