NEW ORLEANS – The Innocence Project of New Orleans (IPNO), a non-profit law office that represents innocent prisoners serving life sentences in Louisiana and Mississippi, filed suit against the New Orleans Police Department after requesting 12 initial reports, and being charged a rate of $175 for each report.

GRETNA – A telecommunications company is suing a local doctor’s office for allegedly not paying for the installation of a phone system. Executone Systems Company of LA Inc. filed suit against Progressive Healthcare Provider/Louisiana Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 12.Executone claims they were contracted by Progressive Healthcare to install a telecommunications system in their offices
