GRETNA – A personal loan company is suing a customer it claims defaulted on a small loan.

High Priority Loans filed suit against Tasha Moran in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 6.

High Priority Loans alleges that on Oct. 1, 2014 it loaned Moran $1,000 that was to be repaid over 19 bi-weekly payments beginning on Oct. 10, 2014. The plaintiff contends the defendant has failed to timely repay the loan and still owes them $884.48 plus $206.95 in interest.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of full repayment plus attorney’s fees are sought by the plaintiff.

High Priority Loans is represented by David M. Cohn of Baton Rouge-based The Cohn Law Firm.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

Case no. 749-413.
