All city buildings, including Orleans Parish Civil District Court, are closed Monday in observance of All Saints Day.
A spokesman for the court said that Orleans closes every year for the Catholic holiday and that business will return to normal Tuesday, Nov. 2.
City Hall, which has experienced budget problems to the point where employees have been asked to furlough up to two weeks in workdays, is also closed. The holiday does not count as a furlough day.
