Reports link New Orleans attorney to ABC's 'Bachlorette'

New Orleans attorney Ben Castoriano will be featured as a contestant on the ABC reality show "The Bachelorette," according to several online reports.

The Web site RealitySteve.com broke the story on March 15 when it announced a list of contestants scheduled for the upcoming season of the TV show.

The Web site AbovetheLaw.com confirmed Castoriano's selection as a contestant and reported that he would be taking a six-week leave of absence from his practice at the firm Frilot LLC.

The Times-Picayune also reported on this story, confirming Castoriano's participation through anonymous sources.

Castriano could not be reached for comment by the Record.

According to Frilot's Web site, Castoriano is an associate in the firm. His focuses are in contracts, intellectual property and railroad litigation.

Castoriano earned a business administration degree from the University of Richmond and earnedU.S. District Judge Sarah Vance in the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Born in Paris, France, Castoriano is a native French speaker, according to his firm's profile.
