NEW ORLEANS – Hamp’s Construction is suing the Orleans Parish School Board for breach of contract and non-payment after allegedly not being paid for labor, work and materials furnished under a school board construction project contract.
Hamp’s Construction, LLC filed a lawsuit against the Orleans Parish School Board in the Orleans Parish Central District Court.
The plaintiff claims that the OPSB owes $233,256.35 for fully completing the “Site Remediation for the Phillips and Waters School” construction project. After amicable demand the OPSB still hasn’t relinquished the sum allegedly due the plaintiff, the suit claims.
