NEW ORLEANS – The provider of various goods and services in construction of a local charter school claims it has not received payment on a balance due for work performed.
Southeastern Overhead Door Company, Inc. filed a lawsuit against Orleans Parish School Board and Walton Construction- a CORE Company LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Dec. 6. The plaintiff claims the defendant is indebted to it in the amount of $83,348.00 for goods and services provided in conjunction with a construction project.
The defendant is accused of failure to pay after amicable demand.
The plaintiff is seeking the full sum owed plus legal interest and legal costs.
Leo J. D’Aubin, of Baton Rouge-based Law Offices of Leo D'Aubin, is representing the plaintiff in court.
This case has been assigned to Division D Judge Lloyd J. Medley.
