NEW ORLEANS – A Maryland-based general partnership club is suing one of its  members claiming abuse of membership privilege.

Fidelity English Turn Club General Partnership filed a lawsuit against Myles David Lipari in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Dec. 13.

Members of the plaintiff's club are granted the privilege of charging purchases and dues to a club account on the agreement that the charged amount is paid within 10 days after billing. The plaintiffs allege Lipari has charged up to $2,221.89 and has not repaid the debt in accordance with the membership terms.

The defendant is accused of failure to submit payment on the club account in the allotted time.

The plaintiff is seeking the aforementioned amount plus attorney's fees and court costs.

Fidelity is represented by Meredith L. Simoneaux of Frilot LLC.

This case has been assigned to Division H Judge Michael G. Bagneris.

Case no. 2012-11642.
