NEW ORLEANS – A Madisonville-based construction company is suing a developer for alleged breach of contract related to work on a Canal Street project.
Thrasher Construction filed a lawsuit against Gibbs Residential LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Jan. 22. The plaintiff claims that after completing its assigned construction work on a Canal Street property, which the defendant was also working on, the defendant never paid plaintiff the $40,532.66 owed under the contract agreement.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Plaintiff is seeking the full sum of $40,532.66 plus legal costs.
