Pharmacy employee sues for over $53K in back wages following seven-week employment

GRETNA – A woman who worked for an pharmacy corporation for seven weeks is suing claims she is owed back wages.

Inez Victorian filed suit against Parexel Corporation, Pharma e Market LLC and monitorforhire.com in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 8.

Victorian alleges she has a doctorate in pharmacology and was employed by Pharma e and contracted to work for Parexel and monitorforhire.com. The plaintiff asserts that the defendants signed an agreement that they would pay her $67 per hour plus travel expenses during her employment with them.

The defendant is accused of non-payment of wages.

Damages in the amount of $53,6000 are sought by the plaintiff.

Victorian is represented by attorney Ralph E. Smith of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
