GRETNA – A customer at a local McDonald's is suing after allegedly slipping and falling on grease.

Patrina Franklin, and husband Wilfred, filed suit against Three Brown Girls LLC, McDonald’s Restaurant, McDonald’s Restaurants of Louisiana Inc. and Scottsdale Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 10.

Franklin claims she was a customer at the McDonald’s located at 3407 Lapalco Blvd. in Harvey on March 18, 2013 when she stepped in a greasy area while walking across the floor and fell. The plaintiff alleges she received severe and disabling injuries in the incident.

Franklin is represented by attorney John D. Sileo of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
