Patrick Jones filed suit against Shoney’s Louisiana LLC and their insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 3.

Jones alleges he was a patron at the Shoney’s restaurant located at 2401 Clearview Parkway in Metairie when he slipped in a puddle of standing water and fell to the floor. An unspecified amount in damages is sought for pain and suffering, mental anguish, embarrassment, humiliation, medical expenses and loss of enjoyment of life.

Jones is represented by Mike Harris of Metairie-based Harris Law Firm PLC.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
