GRETNA – A personal loan lender is suing a client it claims failed to fully pay back a $7,000 loan.
Springleaf Financial Services of Louisiana Inc. filed suit against Christopher Louper in the 24th Judicial District Court on Jan. 20.
Springleaf claims it entered into a contract on Aug. 25, 2014 to provide Louper with a $7,666.45 loan, which he was to pay back over a 48 month period beginning on Oct. 10, 2014. The plaintiff alleges the defendant never made a single payment on the loan and still owes the full balance of the loan plus interest.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Damages in the amount $8,463.52 is sought by the plaintiff.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
