Sheet metal worker sues over alleged non-payment of duct work

GRETNA – A sheet metal fabricator is suing a number of contractors who allegedly did not reimburse him for sheet metal work he did on air ducts for two construction jobs

Ray Bianchini and RB Sheet Metal Works LLC filed suit against A/C Service Depot Corporation, Glenn Barkemeyer, Boston Enterprises Inc. and Michael Gaffney in the 24th Judicial District Court on Jan. 26.

Bianchini and RB Sheet Metal Works contend that in February 2014 they were contracted by the defendants to provide sheet metal work to create duct work to be installed at two properties in Jefferson Parish. The plaintiffs assert they provided the materials and work under the contract for a total cost of $11,335, but were not properly reimbursed under the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $11,335 plus legal fees are sought by the plaintiff.

Bianchini and RB Sheet Metal Works are represented by Michael C. Ginart of the Chalmette-based Law Offices of Michael C. Ginart Jr. & Associates.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.

Case no. 746-162.
