According to a lawsuit filed April 2 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Dr. Natchez Morice is suing Thomas L. and Amilynne Carroll and their "community property regime."
On May 7, 2007, Morice entered into an agreement for credit card processing services with U.S. Merchant Systems, a deal brokered by Amilynne Carroll. But over the subsequent year, Carroll "issued to herself credit card refunds in the amount of $111,187.30. The couple initially paid back $48,000 of the amount.
Though a promissory note was executed, as well as an exact repayment schedule, the couple have not repaid any of the other money owed, the lawsuit states.
Morice seeks the remainder of the money he's allegedly owed.
He is represented by attorney Roland W. Baggott III of Nashville.
