GRETNA – A local caterer its worker got drunk and walked out of a catering event, resulting in the firm having to refund the cost of the event.
Jigger’s LLC filed suit against Daniel P. Kelleher in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 16.
The plaintiff asserts that Kelleher was working a catering event on Feb. 13 for the Fat Bankers Social Aid & Pleasure Club LLC which had paid $2,100 for the event. Jigger’s claims that during the course of the event, Kelleher became inebriated, walked out and did not complete his duties. The plaintiff alleges that as a result of the defendant's actions it refunded the $2,100 paid by the Fat Bankers Social Aid & Pleasure Club.
In addition to losing the $2,100 for catering the event, Jigger’s contends Kelleher’s actions have harmed its reputation.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Damages in the amount of $2,100 is sought by the plaintiff.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
