GRETNA – A condominium association is suing the owner of a property it claims owes more than $10,000 in unpaid dues.

Cobblestone Village Condominium Association Inc. filed suit against Vincent’s Art Supply in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 20.

Cobblestone Village Condominium Association Inc. operates a condo development located at 724 Village Road in Kenner. The plaintiff claims Vincent’s Art Supply has owned and operated a business within the condo development since purchasing it on Dec, 12, 2008.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and violation of state law.

Damages in the amount of $10,029.61 plus attorney’s fees are sought by the plaintiff.

Cobblestone Village Condominium Association Inc. is represented by Ira R. Silverstein of Gretna-based The Silverstein Law Firm APLC.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
