Car dealership sued over alleged $2K breach of contract

GRETNA – An auto dealership is being sued for non-payment by a company that claims it was contracted for posting online ads.

ENTU Auto Services Inc. filed suit against Big Easy Auto LLC, doing business as LaPalco Motors II, in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 19.

ENTU Auto Services Inc. contends it provides a monthly service to auto dealerships involving videos of vehicles for sale that are uploaded to third-party websites, The plaintiff asserts on Sept. 2, 2014 it entered into an agreement with LaPalco Motors II to provide such services that were supposed to last through April 2015. ENTU Auto Services Inc. claims LaPalco Motors II benefited from their services from Jan. 7, 2015 to April 15, 2015, but failed to pay.

The plaintiff alleges that over the course of the contract, prior to its cancellation on April 15, 2015 the defendant failed to pay 14 invoices worth $2,192.85.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Damages in the amount of $2,192.85 is sought by the plaintiff.

ENTU Auto Services Inc. is represented by Gregory D. Latham of New Orleans-based Ostendorf, Tate, Barnett and Tagmeyer LLP.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
