NEW ORLEANS – A Bush business has filed a suit against a Missouri car company over allegations it failed deliver a van.
Fidelis Group Holdings LLC filed a complaint on April 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Chalmers Automotive LLC and Albert J. Chalmers citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it contracted with the defendants for the construction of a Mercedes-Benz Luxury Sprinter Van on Dec. 11, 2015. The plaintiff holds Chalmers Automotive LLC and Albert J. Chalmers responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to timely deliver the Mercedes-Benz Luxury Sprinter Van, failed to begin construction of the van and refused to return the plaintiff's deposit in the amount of $85,500.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment to return its deposit, plus interest, compensation for consequential and incidental damages, attorneys’ fees and costs and for such further relief at law and in equity may allow.
