Financial services corporation alleges cargo carrier owes $839,000

NEW ORLEANS — A financial services corporation is suing a cargo carrier, alleging failure to pay more than $839,000 for completed work.

NG Bank NV filed a lawsuit June 10 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against M/V Jawor, alleging breach of contract 

According to the complaint, NG Bank has suffered monetary losses for not receiving payment for unpaid bunkers delivered to M/V Jawor in the amount of $839,553.93. 

NG Bank NV seeks a trial by jury, judgment of $839,553.93, pre-judgment interest, costs, expenses, attorney fees and such other relief deemed proper. It is represented by attorneys James D. Bercaw, Robert J. Stefani, Len R. Brignac and Laura E Avery of King, Krebs & Jurgens PLLC in New Orleans.
