NEW ORLEANS – An Alabama man is seeking a declaration from the court regarding the obligations of an Orleans Parish man.
Robert "Bob" Najor filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Hai Nguyen and The Nguyen Family Trust.
According to the complaint, Hai Nguyen owned and operated a soil and clay excavation site through Plaquemines Clay Co. and the plaintiff entered into an agreement with that company. The suit states Plaquemines Clay Co. breached the agreement and the plaintiff sued, making plaintiff a judgment creditor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declaration that defendants are jointly and severally liable for all money judgment and other obligations of defendant Nguyen, plus interest, legal fees and costs, and such other relief that the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Evan Park Howell III in Metairie.
