ALEXANDRIA – A New Orleans company is alleged to owe almost $2 million for commissions.
Glens Commercial Corp. filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana against Dynamic Industries International LLC alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 21, 2008, plaintiff agreed to act as defendant's non-exclusive sales representative to customers and potential customers in Angola in exchange for payments of commissions. Plaintiff alleges it has been damaged for not receiving commissions at a minimum amount of $1,950,000. The plaintiff holds Dynamic Industries International LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to make payments for the amount legally owed.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for actual damages of at least $1,950,000, attorney's fees, pre- and post-judgment interest, and all other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by Bradley J. Schlotterer, Sean T. McLaughlin and Zoe Vermeulen of Kean Miller LLP in New Orleans and Christina E. Ponig and Allissa A.R. Pollard of DLA Piper LLP US in Houston, Texas.
