LAFAYETTE – A Broussard company is accused of not making payments on a loan.
Banc of America Leasing & Capital LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Lafayette Division against Breakwater Advanced Manufacturing LLC, Bryan Benoit, Greg David and Mark Leach alleging that the borrower and guarantors failed to perform their contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants purchased equipment and were granted loans. As of Jan. 11, 2017, the outstanding amount of more than $541,000 remains due and owing. The plaintiff holds Breakwater Advanced Manufacturing LLC, Benoit, David and Leach responsible because the defendant allegedly failed pay the monthly installments.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for the full amount of the outstanding obligation, attorney's fees, costs and expenses and any additional relief that the court may deem appropriate.
