LAKE CHARLES – A Lake Charles man alleges that he faced discrimination while employed with a pizza shop.

Terrance Terrell Carriere filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Lake Charles Division against RPM Pizza LLC, doing business as Domino's Pizza, and Domino's Pizza LLC alleging that the former employer violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that throughout the course of his employment with defendant, he was subjected to discrimination, hostile work environment, adverse employment actions and constructive discharge and was ultimately forced to resign in April 2015.

The plaintiff holds RPM Pizza LLC and Domino's Pizza LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to take any reasonable steps in resolving his complaints.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks award for compensatory and punitive damages, attorney’s fees and for all other damages as appropriate in this case. He is represented by James E. Sudduth III of Sudduth & Associates LLC in Lake Charles.
