LAFAYETTE – A Franklin limited liability company is alleged to owe more than $3 million for engines and services.

Advanced Turbine Services LLC filed a complaint on April 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Lafayette Division against Turbine Power Technology LLC alleging that the limited liability company failed to fulfill its obligations under the terms of the contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in October 2011, plaintiff sold remanufactured turbine engines and provided maintenance, repair services and shipping containers to defendant. To date, the plaintiff alleges that the total amount of approximately $3,673,554.96 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff holds Turbine Power Technology LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments for the remaining balance due and failed to return and/or compensate for shipping containers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general, actual and economic damages, attorney’s fees, costs and all further relief justified in the premises. It is represented by Adam G. Young of Young, Cotter & Meade in Lafayette and John Alden Meade of Young, Cotter & Meade in New Orleans.
