Oilrig 06

NEW ORLEANS — An oilfield services company is suing Montco Oilfield Contractors LLC, a well operator, citing alleged failure to pay.

Greene's Energy Group LLC, a Texas company, filed a complaint on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Montco alleging that it breached its duty to perform its contractual obligation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between June 2016 and March 2017, plaintiff provided testing services, equipment and labor for defendant's operation of various offshore oil well platforms for a total of $325,791.73. Said amount allegedly remains due and owing. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly failed to make payments for the amounts owed and failed to respond to plaintiff's demand letters.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the full amount of $325,791.73, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs of this suit and all other general and equitable relief. It is represented by H. Alan McCall and Stephen D. Polito of Stockwell, Sievert, Viccellio, Clements & Shaddock LLP in Lake Charles.
