Central Dispatch Inc. alleges it is owed more than $50,000 for services to vessels

Late 06

NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana corporation alleges it provided services to two vessels and was not paid for its work.

Central Dispatch Inc. filed a complaint on April 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against DB William Kallop, DB Swing Thompson and Offshore Specialty Fabricators LLC alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between October 2015 and December 2016, plaintiff provided numerous services necessary for the operation and accomplishment of defendant vessels' mission. To date, the principal amount of $55,787.78 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff holds DB William Kallop, DB Swing Thompson and Offshore Specialty Fabricators LLC responsible because despite demand for payment, defendants allegedly failed and refused to make payments for the said amount.

The plaintiff seeks payment for the balance owed, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and expenses, an order for the arrest of defendant vessel and be sold to pay plaintiff's demand. It is represented by Scott D. Brownell of Allen & Gooch in Metairie.
