Man alleges he is entitled to benefits from United Omaha Life Insurance Co.

BATON ROUGE – A Denham Springs man alleges he is entitled to disability benefits.

Johnny Caston filed a complaint on April 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against United of Omaha Life Insurance Co. alleging that the claims administrator violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he became disabled in February 2016 and that the defendant has refused to pay disability benefits. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in such an amount as will fairly and fully compensate plaintiff's damages, legal interest, costs and attorney’s fees and for all other legal and equitable relief as the court may grant.
