BATON ROUGE – An East Baton Rouge Parish man employed by a Zachary company alleges he is owed unpaid overtime wages.

Ronnie Jackson filed a complaint on May 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against Pace Construction Services LLC alleging that the domestic company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he regularly worked overtime hours. The plaintiff holds Pace Construction Services LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly did not pay plaintiff proper overtime compensation at a rate of time-and-one-half for all hours worked over 40 per week.

The plaintiff seeks overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorney fees and costs and all further relief that the court determines to be just and appropriate. He is represented by Eulis Simien Jr. and Jimmy Simien of Simien & Simien LLC in Baton Rouge.
