NEW ORLEANS – A seaman and commercial dive tender alleges he was injured while working.

Casey Rider filed a complaint on May 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against T&T Subsea LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained hyperbaric injury and decompression illness following two dives on March 7 and 8, 2016. As a result of these injuries, plaintiff alleges he suffered severe emotional trauma, permanent impairment, loss of wages and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds T&T Subsea LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide proper training and instruction to its crewmembers and failed to properly plan and execute plaintiff's dives on the said dates.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount as may be proper in the premises, costs and disbursements in this action and all other general and equitable relief. He is represented by Bobby J. Delise and Anton J. Hall of Delise & Hall in New Orleans.
